The Philippine Green Building Council (PHILGBC) was incorporated on March 22, 2007 as a national non-stock, non-profit organization that promotes the sharing of knowledge on green building practices to ensure a sustainable environment. It was organized to serve as a single voice in the promotion of holistic and market-based green building practices, to facilitate the sharing of information and practices in the industry, and to serve as a non-partisan venue for the development of a green building rating system.
Since its establishment, PHILGBC has been campaigning for the transformation of design, construction and management methods of the industry into practices that are environmentally and socially responsible, safe and healthy to ultimately improve our quality of life.
The Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance (PE2) convened private- and public-sector energy efficiency market stakeholder entities in April 2016 as a non-stock, non-profit civil society organization, building on the 11-year history of the Energy Service Companies Association of the Philippines (ESCOPhil) established in May 2005 with DOE support, and its successor, the Philippine Association of Energy Service Companies.
The Philippine Iron and Steel Institute (PISI) shall be the premiere organization that is recognized by the government as representing the country’s iron and steel industry and it shall be the vital catalyst to bring about a sustainable and globally competitive domestic capability to produce and manufacture iron and steel products in the Philippines.
